OK I s'pose the rest of you don't live in Michigan, and don't realize what a luxury it really is to flush your toilet after 22 hours unflushability. And I just DID. And? IT WENT DOWN

A hurricaine? In December?

Well, I'm sure it didn't have a name like Hurricane Mondo or anything, but it involved extreme high winds with people's stuff blown around into other people's yards and lots of downed trees. :) We're into the 2nd day without power. In the winter, where your pipes would normally freeze, that would be an issue.
