Good god, I've not had one last a week.

Don't think you're losing your mind. Not to sound overly serious, but maybe a call to the doctor is in order? Get a 'script for something to snap this out of you?

A week! I had one short-lived one and I felt like I was dying. Maybe get yourself to a clinic and get some meds for short-term and get yourself on a long-term de-stressing program (meditation, yoga, writing). How cow Anna, I hope it passes soon!

Hi I don't know you but we have beloved friends in common who can vouch for me!

When I am having an attack like that I try to sort of take stock of my surroundings, so I can internalize that I am not in any danger. I do it like this:

List five things I can see.
Five things I can hear.
Five things I can feel in my body.

Then four, then, three, then two, then one.

It really helps me.
