Taking advice...

I'm going to take some advice from a very good friend of mine. You will see neither hide nor hair from me on LJ for at least one week. I'm taking some time to get my own head straight, and continue the search for some professional help. Some of my friends have shown their true colors tonight, and I will never be able to say thank you enough to show

In true seriousness, I think you should go to a monastary. Spend a while there in isolation and silence. Have some time to sort through your thoughts. Having people around has not helped, so maybe having no one around will. I pray for you.

Please don't email me about this situation, talking about it just digs your hole deeper.

You are absolutely correct. I don't deserve to have people around me. I have completely lost that right.

But I'm grateful for the ones who ARE there.

Believe me when I say, I'm praying for me just as hard as (if not harder than) you are.

I read a wonderful article about "the new getaway", a short stay at various convent and monasteries. They vary as to how involved you get in their actual routine, but most take you regardless of faith or denomination. The idea is to exit the world for even just a few days.

Very good idea.
