yes they can - and it nets about $75-$150 per week, if they are steady about it...

technically, i've already got 2 of them... one sleeping on the couch who can't afford to pay me (her mom gives me $50 a week, and even that may not last very long), and another keeping her shit in my second bedroom who doesn't pay nearly as much as a live-in roommate would.
