as a proud socialist, i'm really insulted that you would refer to a bullshit liberal like obama as a socialist. for clarity, the number one rule of true scientific socialism (not caricatures of socialism or state capitalism posing as socialism) is that it must be the SELF emancipation of the working class... from the bottom up. that is obviously not what this is... or even remotely close. i don't really want to get into marxist theory, but i will if i need to.
really, i just wanted to let you know that you're kind of delusional if you actually think he's a socialist.
being a socialist is not something that you should be proud of. It goes against the very being of our country. Obama may not claim to be a socialist but his ideas are very much so socialist, and anti-american.
well, it's something i AM proud of. i have no problem with people viewing socialism as anti-american or something that goes against what our founding fathers stood for. our country was founded on bullshit by a bunch of rich white assholes. at any rate, i have no intention or even desire to convince you that socialism is good. you can be as critical of socialism as you want. the only thing i ask is that you be critical of what socialism ACTUALLY is, and not things that people tend to associate with socialism.

im not gonna pretend that i know more about socialism than you. I never read the communist manifesto, but what i do know is that the gist of it is everyone is equal, and that to me just makes no sense. It helps no one reach their dreams, and doesnt motivate anyone to do more than they have to to get ahead in life. Im sorry to say this, but it is people such as yourself that is bringing this country down, and if you really love socialism as much as you say you need to leave this country to go where socialism is being practiced.
Just so you know it is no consolation that hes going to break all of his promises, because he already started to deliver on some of his worst ones. I hope he starts to though because thats the only way this country can survive, but to you im sure you would love it if he ran this country into the ground it would just get one step closer to where you want it.
