PROLOGUE
He took a deep breath and release it slowly hoping that it can reduce the nervousness, but that did not work. His heart was still beating abysmally, he repeatedly wiped his hands that damp with cold sweat and he slowly sat down on the floor, his back against the wall. His eyes closed and again he tried to calm himself. Ignore whole his friend who now practice their dancing.
He never felt as nervous as this, not while dancing alone in front of hundreds of eyes, not when it comes to facing the final exam, not when viewing the university announcement board to saw he make it or not, not when he had a battle dance with a famous dancer from England, he never this nervous, never.
A brown-haired girl step into the dance practice room, her eyes search the entire direction and smiled when she saw a figure that he was looking for, a red-haired boy who sat on the floor while his back against the wall with both eyes shut. Slowly she walked over to the young man, and made a sign to the other people who see her to ignore her and keep practicing.
Once she gets in front of the man, she take a deep breath before lean and shout to the man ear.
"HYUKIEEEEEEEEEEE."
Hyukjae shock, he snapped out from his thought and tried to stand but only made his head collided with the girl's head.
"Ouuch ... Hyukieee. It's Hurt." she whined, holding the head which clashed with the man head.
"Aissh ... my head is more hurts! Your head as hard as a rock!"
"Huh? No! My head is not as hard as a rock! Meany Hyukie!" the girl said as she pouted.
"Tsk ... don't pout, your ugly face going to become more ugly." The man said with a small smile, he's lying, she was very cute when pouting.
"Huh! Meany Hyukie, I'll not talk to you again and I'll not help you today." threatened the girl as she sat backfacing him and folded her arms across her chest.
The man just smiled, he did not fear of the threat because he knew the girl didn’t mean it.
"Hae ..." He called the girl and nudge her shoulder, asking for attention, but she did not budge, she remained silent.
"Hae ... I'm sorry ok? Please ... I'll buy you the chocolate pudding sale in the shop infront of the station ok?" He was trying to persuade, hear the word pudding the girl immediately turned and facing him.
"Ok, I forgive you but I'd like two chocolate pudding, two." the girl said, holding up the forefinger and middle finger.
"Hmpp... Ok. Deal.”
“Hyukie..”
"Hm?"
"Is your head really hurt?" the girl said as she showed the man's head. His head has not hurt but he nodded answer her question because he know what will she do.
"Ne, it's hurt." he said, the girl approached him and holding his head then kissed the spot where the man's head get knock, the girl's attitude makes him smile.
"I'd kiss the pain away, is it better now?" she asked and smiled as he nodded.
"Come here." Hyukjae said and make a gesture to Donghae to lean to him.
“Huh?” the girl looked surprised but still lean closer to Hyukjae and she whined when she feel a sting pain in her forehead because Hyukjae snapped his fingers to her forehead.
"Ouch ... Hyukie, why are you doing this?"
"That's your reward for make me shock." Hyukjae said make the Donghae pouted.
“Hae, thank you.”
“Hm??? Wae?”
“Because you make my nervous go away.” Hyukjae said Donghae frown didn’t get what Hyukjae mean but when she remembers what day is it, she smile.
“Hm… the monkey prince is nervous? Are you nervous because today is the day?” Donghae ask.
“Yeah, Princess Fishy, I’m. Huh, I never feel this nervous my whole life.”
“Hm… how about we practice again your routine? It’s still two hours till the time.” Donghae said while get up from her seat also drag Hyukjae with her. Hyukjae didn’t protest he let Donghae drag him and go along with her.
On the other corner of the dancing room…
“Sunbae, is that girl is Hyukjae Sunbae-nim girlfriend?” a freshman ask her senior while keep looking at the pair whose now practice dance together.
Her senior just smile hear the question, she hear that question for million time, she also have the same question in her mind when first time she saw the pair, the way they act to each other, how cute and sweet Donghae toward Hyukjae and how Hyukjae change from the Ice Prince to his childish side when Donghae around.
“No, they aren’t they just best friend.” She knows her junior didn’t believe her but that’s the true.
Hyukjae and Donghae is just best friend like what they always said to other people.
“We aren’t lover, we just best friend. Best friend forever.”
