Nursery Rhymes

52, House stable and strong
22, shan't stay up long.
Those which trump all hardly know all
And if the base will cause the whole House to fall.
2.
Aces, Jacks, Queens and Kings
Lined up in a row
Arcana comes to knock them off
Down and down they go.
3.
78 cards had I
With Knights, Kings, Queens and Pages
But my Deck got split with a war cry
And naught could quench the rages.
4.
Artful Annie took a jewel
Which Naughty Nancy stole from school
Annie, Nancy, jesters dual.
Who's the Joker, who's the Fool?
5.
Red Ace, Red Ace
In the woods so deep
Watch for where the Hermit sleeps
Black Ace, Black Ace
In the desert dry
Have caution where the Lovers lie
Red King, Red Queen
Near the ocean blue
Hope the Devil shan't come to you
Black King, Black Queen
Near the icy peak
Pray you shan't hear the Hanged Man speak
Number high or number low
Near the trumpers do not go.

Watch where you go
The Tower's in the corner
Chariot's down below
Little Three, Little Three
Watch where you step
Strength's in the garden
Everything's Death.

Sing a song of two pips,
A hand flush of Cards.
Two and fifty Ranked men,
Standing on guard.
When the game is opened,
The Arcana will fall;
Isn't that a lovely treat
For Suits one and all?
The Kings will trump the Emp'ror,
Have him on the run;
The Queens will beat the Lovers,
For a bit of fun.
The Jacks will best the Hang'd Man,
Just as is the rule;&nbs
And the Aces deal with the all rest
If Jokers take the Fool.
The Clubs will take the front guard,
Bust straight down the door;
The Diamonds straight behind will
Have them on the floor.
The Hearts may put it gently,
Masking the attack;
But the Spades will deal the final blow,
A knife in their back!

The Spades are nimble, the Spades are quick--
The Spades beat everyone due to wit.
They watch, they learn, they listen and they grow,
They are not afraid to let their talents show.
They King is the sword, cutting through the lies,
The Queen is the shield, watching all with the bright eyes.
The Ace is the staff, striking enemies without fear,
The Jack is the net, catching danger this is near.
The Spades are nimble, the Spades are quick--
The Spades beat everyone due to wit.
They are brave and strong but most of all smart.
And that is what sets them apart.
