oh man i have a feeling team AU is the one most people want and i don't judge them because AUs are so much fun. also sameee. I think canon fics in general are always quite short because there's not much to work with, you know? the only big ones i can think of right now are coming out ones and stuff
yeah same. i won't really mind ending up on future fic cause i've got some ideas (granted there will be a prompt but still).
i think canon is hard because canon to some extent is character study. like for me half the feat is making the characterization of these real people believable, as well as creating the half of their personality no one sees.

i went with AU because all of my bigger & more creative fics are AU, although canon is also cool in my book

au is first choice future is second. i want to attempt a longer fic and usually my canon fics are only between 1k-3k words.
