[There have been rumblings of an experiment, but Amelia's been fortunate enough to be unaffected--until she heads out to check the items shop for any of her things. She doesn't quite make it there before the world suddenly shifts, and she ends up a purring, cooing pile of adorable fluff, with wings ( Read more... )

[Being sniffed isn't so bad. But no, not a toy! Bad kitty!

...can kitty understand that when it's spoken in "coo"?]

Hmmm... she might!]

[Oh no, no. Amelia knows what that cat's up to, and she starts to back away as quickly as a tribble can--which is entirely the wrong thing to do, but she doesn't want to get delivered to someone's doorstep dead, and she might be panicking a little.

But in that panic, she actually makes a new sound! A high pitched, frightened squeal that's not at all pleasant. Defense mechanisms are go!]

[Stalks after a bit... then lets out a startled mew and runs to hide. She peers out from her hiding place at that scary furball!]

[...Huh. Who would've thought that would work?

But Amelia isn't heartless, even as a tribble. When she sees the kitten peering at her, she suddenly feels bad for scaring it, even with a good reason. She lets out a soft purr, which should have been a sigh, then heads back toward the thing. She doesn't want to get chewed on, but she also doesn't want to leave things like this either.]

[This is a rather timid kitten.

Hears the purring and hesitantly comes closer, surely something that's purring won't hurt her?]

[Amelia stops when the kitten starts to come out, and waits. Whatever it's going to do, she knows that she can make it go away, somehow. Not that she's been able to make that particular noise of her own will up to this point, but it's in there somewhere.

Hopefully it won't come to that, however.]

[The kitten comes to sniff the furball again then reaches out to pet it tentatively with a little paw]
