She sits, and shuts her eyes. She's still trembling, but not as badly as before. "Thanks," she says, voice sounding rough. A tear falls down one cheek, and she wipes it away shakily.
She winces. "It's just a scratch, I think." She leans against him. He's warm and comforting and safe. She shudders as her traitorous brain replays the werewolf running towards her, and her inability to move.
Shelley wakes up, confused by the unfamiliar surroundings. Her temple feels sore, which prompts her to remember how it was hurt. She sits up and sees Mouse asleep on the floor. She feels guilty, as it looks uncomfortable.
"It's okay. Did I fall asleep on you? I'm sorry, I don't think I was quite... normal." She looks apologetic, and a bit concerned at the shoulder-rubbing. "Are you alright?"
"Yeah, you fell asleep. No big deal." He twists his head a little, moving his shoulder around some more. "I'm fine. I just slept on my shoulder funny, that's all."
