is even awesomer than Twilight: the book. Such lines as "This is the [sparkly!] skin of a killer!" and "What if I'm the bad guy?" are just...startling on screen and accompanied by popcorn

It was hilariously bad (when it wasn't boring). I thought the only decent scene was the baseball game... but that was 'cause it was just hilarious and they tried to make it look epic.

I heard that Bella was a lot less whiny/annoying in the movie than she was in the book... 0.0 How is that possible?

And I did the same with Twilight as I did for Eragon and other horrific movies... I watched it online. ^.^
Unfortunately, that meant I didn't get the full sparkle effect since the quality wasn't that great.

My little cousin was reading bk. 2 of the Twilight Saga when I was visitin for the holidays in NY... I tried to read the beginning of book 1 but it failed to grip me. Something about a whiny teeny bopper girl moving to colder climates and living with her emotionally austere daddy and then meeting some strange folk/vampires apparently? at the local school. Um. K. lol.

Heres a summary if you're curious.... The series has got abusive/stalker boyfriends as twuu love, a baby eating her way out of Bella, and Bella's ex falling in love with the infant...

I don't know if I've told you that this icon is the best thing EVER, but I suspect it really is.
