I'd like to say it was a smashing success. The pork got just a tad dry during the brief browning phase, and the butcher said that it'd be a little dryer than it should since I was forced into using pork shoulder instead of the requisite PORK BUTT as I had originally intended ( Read more... )

I've used the skirt steak a few times. It turns out quite nicely after a marinade!
