Got my promo copy of Leviathan today

The new Mastodon is fucking amazing.. I don't care what you thought of the track "Blood and Thunder", wait until you hear the whole album, I personally believe it puts "Remission" to shame.. The group's songwriting ablility is far beyond anything I could put into words.. I don't want to ruin it for anyone so I'll shut up, but god damn you HAVEto

I'll give it another shot, but I definetly did not like it as much as Remission. The art is cooler though.

I liked how the songs had more to them, and each track has it's own vibe.. a lot of the songs on Remission don't flow together because it's just the same sound through the CD

it's good that it doesn't sound like Remission, it shows that they have grown as a band and wanted to improve their sound.. I don't think I would change anything on the album, it's a great follow up
