So I went to 3PiCon. This was my first scifi con ever. I think I mostly went to meet some people. I was really excited about meeting Corey Doctorow and Randall "XKCD" Munroe. Plus the whole Pi thing I just couldn't resist.

Fri had fun got to hear a lot of smart people talk about smart things. Ended up with a burlesque show. Woo! At the very end I

Oh hey, you're the guy who brought the lasers. AWESOME. That was so cool, and made so many people ridiculously happy. You should totally do a panel on hobby lasers - we're starting to really get a good group of folks who are into "hobby engineering" of various sorts. (Go to http://lists.pi-con.org and sign up for the "Brainstorming" list to be part of panel planning.) Also, I know there were some pics of the setup that were taken - http://photos.pi-con.org.
