So I just typed up this amazing entry with a detailed list of the great things I want.  It came with lovely reasons explaining why for each one.

ONE FALSE STEP AND THE WHOLE THING WAS GONE.

And I know what you mean about losing it in one false step. It makes me want to burn things. That's why I hate entrusting my thoughts/life to a fucking machine. Phew. I feel much better.
