Day Nine or Day of Incredible Pain
Thursday, March 17, 2005Thursday was surgery day. Surgery was scheduled for 1:15pm so we had to get there at 11:15pm. No food after midnight the night before. Clear fluids okay in the morning and most drugs okay, but no multi-vitamins. I took a Percocet when I woke up at 8am and then another at 10am (latest that I could take anything before the

When Beth had her surgery, they weren't allowed to put an IV in her right arm (no lymph nodes on that side therefore risk of lymphedema), so the surgeon wrote in big letters: NO IV. Then added "GO ARMY BEAT NAVY!". Hyuck hyukc hyuck.
