Even more concerning than the fact that the water level was still rising was the thick quality it had taken on and the way it almost felt as though it was pulling her down. Even if the latter was probably just her imagination, those two things were enough to be disconcerting. To just trudge through it as she--or, well, they, since Hidan was still with her--were going at wasn't a problem, but the small, enclosed spaces put her at enough of a disadvantage without anything else being added to that, and she couldn't depend on Hidan in the same way she had Emil...the stupid jerk'd probably just leave her to die. She was surprised that he'd stuck around for as long as he had during the last night.

She wasn't sure why he was was following her now, either, though. Sure, she'd invited him to come along with her on this little field trip, but she hadn't actually expected him to take her up on the offer. Honestly, she just didn't get him...

Well, whatever. She had more important things to worry about than why Hidan was following her. Like the fact that none of the doors in the house would close, or the multicolored orbs that were floating in the hallways and giving off a faint light. They seemed pretty harmless, but they still made her uneasy and--was there something in that bedroom? Marta stopped in front of the open doorway before turning to face it, shivering a little as she caught sight of what was inside. Monsters, wrapped in bandages and looking as though someone had dipped them in some kind of white powdery substance wandered the room, walking in confused circles. Over the course of her journey she'd fought many monsters, but she'd never seen any that looked quite so...human. It was a little unnerving.

"Hey, Hidan," she called, keeping her voice soft and searching the hallway for Hidan. Whatever was in the room didn't seem to have noticed her yet, and she didn't care to draw attention needlessly. They'd found what they were looking for, one of the rooms that had monsters in it, but where did they go from her? She would have been fine with walking away, but she questioned whether or not her Hidan would really be content to do the same.
