Characters: Anna Marshall, Roxas
Setting: Observatory.
Time: Day 006, afternoon
Summary: LOL ANGST. Aww, mommy tiem?
Warnings: LOL ANGST

Exploring this place with Gant had been.... exhausting. Overwhelming. Those bodies.... She felt like she had been thrust into some sort of grand narrative--an opera maybe, full of drama and intrigue, or maybe some sort of tragedy like the Greeks thought of it. Or maybe some sort of epic Stephen King horror novel, or maybe some sort of murder mystery book that was heavy on the supernatural.... She'd never really been an enormous fan of those sorts of things when just reading or watching them, and feeling as though she were participating in one now just made her stomach turn. Her nerves felt strained, and she wondered when the shaking might pass, but she felt like she needed to see this. All of this. Maybe it was some sort of punishment, or an absurd notion of hardening herself in the fire. Maybe she hoped to numb her senses this way. Or maybe such a glut of tragedy would help her accept and move on with her life on a more personal level. Irenia....

Anna felt disoriented as she stepped off of the staircase, looking around for a moment; she had felt no twist, no physical shift.... but she was almost certain that she was facing the wrong way. She had been climbing straight towards a wall, so naturally the stairs should have twisted and spat her out facing the other way, right? Why was she effectively back on the other side of the house? The physics of it gave her a headache to think about at the impossibility, so she gave up, turning back towards the room proper.

And promptly regretted it. Her stomach heaved again, and her eyes watered; Anna clamped a hand over her mouth to keep from being sick (again), reeling for a moment and nearly tumbling back down the stairs before she caught herself. That would have hurt even more than throwing up last night had, but.... but oh, Jesus, what had happened here? There was.... there was s-so much blood.... So much.... And their heads.... And the guns.... They'd done it. They had done it to themselves, sitting there in a circle, unified, watching each other as they all pulled the triggers.... Her stomach lurched again, and Anna cringed as she felt the insect inside her skitter because of it, hugging her notebook tighter to herself as if it could protect her or offer some form of comfort.

She stayed turned around for several long minutes, just breathing to calm herself, trying desperately to ignore the smell of the bodies that permeated the air. Finally settled enough to ignore them, Anna carefully sidestepped the corpses and guns, heading for the first door she saw to get away from the bloody massacre. The observatory....
