Oh, I do talk about "Daddy" all the time to him, so it is understandable, just vaguely injurious to the Mummy-ego ;) At this point the a-da-da-da doesn't actually seem to mean anything, however, which is gratifying (bad me!).
"Who's come home to see you?!" seems to really symbolise "Daddy" to him, though, as he now looks towards the door when I say it!
Now comes all the good stuff, the stuff that makes you realise that yes, it IS fun being a parent, and that you do love your little horror more than you possibly thought you could ever love anyone.
He sounds like he's turning into quite the little charmer!
It also sounds as if he was partly frustrated when he was younger, because he couldn't move around and explore as much as he wanted to. As you say, that sort of "drive" can be a good thing as he gets older - and that might explain why he's a lot happier now that he can crawl and pull up and examine everything in the world.
