It's pretty unbelievable that we've got a Big Kid [tm] on our hands more than we have a toddler these days. He's learned to "read" (or at least recognize) his first word, "on", and loves to point it out in just about any situation, including his In 'n Out Burger shirt, which reads, "Put the smile on the burger

wow, almost three... my how the years have flown by.

I guess it's probably bad mannered of me to say 'we told you so' that he'd grow out of all it, and that you weren't a bad Mum and that things would get better

Isabel also loves to hear her favorite songs over and over and over... Right now, we're on a Mary Poppins kick. (That and Cinderella are the only two movies that we let her watch. The others would give her nightmares.) Yesterday, as we strolled through the supermarket, she sang "Spoonful of Sugar" rather loudly to everyone who happened by us. That damn cheery Mary Poppins is really starting to piss me off. I really feel that I'm being held to an unfair standard, don't you think? :)

We took Isabel to a farm to pick berries, and that really got her interested in eating them. Do you have any places nearby?
