Author's Notes: Takes place somewhere between 'The Beach' and 'Nightmares and Daydreams'
Prince Zuko had, at this point, come up with fourty seven different ways which he would've loved to use to murder the palace gardener. It had to be something painful, something that would make sure that the man would learn his lesson. Why he would need to learn a lesson if he was going to die anyway currently eluded Zuko, but he would figure it out later. And after he's done with killing the gardener, he would ban planting any thorned flowers on the palace grounds. And then he'd ban all gardening tools, because such things were obviously evil...
Mai, who'd been listening her boyfriend rant, simply sighed and rolled her eyes. When Zuko paused to give her a look, she ignored him and bent over to pick up the ‘evil’ shovel that had caused the prince’s downfall, and set it against the tree. She then extended her had to her boyfriend to pull him up from the flowerbed.
“You could simply watch where you're going, you know.”
