Just remember that those who offer these reminders often, themselves, need to be reminded.

*Amused Look*

I am going to have to agree with HoneyMom.....Have some, and tell me who you are. I am so tired of the people who can't seem to step up, buck up, or have balls and just talk straight to my face. Anonymous is as bad as just talking behind someone's back. Or are you clued into something I'm not?

Stephanie - There you know who I am.

...rather like this comment. Sorry if it's a duplicate, I don't really understand Italian keyboards yet!

Hey, at least you recognize it. I see people getting kicked in the ass by karma all the time, and either refusing to learn from it, or holding themselves to be above it, thus guaranteeing that it will come around again. Whatever it is that caught up, I hope that you learn the lesson and grow from it, and use it to your continued profit as you go along. It's almost a relief to me sometimes, hitting that brick wall - it means that whatever I needed to learn, I finally got it instead of being sent back to square one.

Well, yes learning from history is good but, I guess I should make this as clear as possible.
The statement about karma from Stephanie was a general one about everyone's life, here and now. I live with her, and asked her, what she meant and she was just stating Karma is what you get, if you have a life, good or bad. Wikipda...etc
Learning from history, really depends on whose history we are talking about. As I said, I get my ass bit all the time, that is how I know I am alive. But I don't carry it around on my back, or carry others peoples Karmic mistakes around to show them they messed up. I see no growth for me and lots of harm for them. ...an harm none

Huh? The historical reference is actually a classical quotation that I ran into again recently - believe it or not, there wasn't really any specific thought or incident behind my reply - remember, I am severely out of the loop concerning what is happening in DFW right now - and as ideas tend to, the idea of karma and growth has turned up a lot in my life and the lives of those around me lately. I thought it was rather cool to see the reference again in someone's journal. I did assume that the general statement was meant to refer to - or at least resulting from - something that had some source of inspiration, and so replied accordingly. Generally people don't post philosophical discourses on something they have no reason to be thinking about. Sorry if it was taken awry - all I really mean is to say yeah, I hear you, I've been there, you're not alone.
