Wow, just like that, huh? That sounds really exciting. I think it's a good thing you're going. Maybe later you would have reasoned yourself out of it, and then you'd just be staying home doing the same old same old. Congrats!
My husband and I are very slow at making decisions together.
We do heavy research...should we do it? Should we not?
I did almost back down once--when I saw the plane ticket prices. I came down and said "Maybe we'll just stay here and watch the Wiggles or something." That was before we even found the FIRST plane tickets--the ones that were double the ticket we eventually got.
We were both looking for flights. I couldn't find anything remotely affordable. I came down to tell my husband to just forget it and he told me he found some flights.
I'm so excited for you. I love how spontaneous you were about the whole thing! I think it will be an incredible trip and I hope you will tell us all about it :).
And all your other trips too - how fun! You are a jet setter!! :D
My boss travels a lot and I tell her I am living vicariously through her. I love hearing about where she goes and what she does. Now I can live vicariously through you too!
I think my husband wants to do sight-seeing. I think I'm going to want to sleep.
We're not going to have time to go to Tokyo so will probably stay in the town where the airport is. I forgot the name!!! Maybe Narita?
Did you fly into there??
We'll probably go to some Buddist temple, eat a meal, walk around.
I hope to catch up on some sleep.
My husband wants to go to Tokyo, but it's a long train ride. I told him the last thing I want to do after being on a plane so long is take a long train ride.
I think we'll return to Japan for a longer visit someday.

But then we found even better ones.
