I really wish I could get into Mad Men, I don't know why I can't, I adore the cast, the type of show it is, the costumes, WHY CAN'T I GET INTO IT?!?!!?

That's funny I do think it's the kind of thing you'd like. Where have you seen up to? It's a very odd show because nothing happens and although I can see why it could be hard to get into, there's something about it that keeps me watching - and at the same time doesn't. Like, I wanted to see season 3 but I also didn't mind waiting. I find that marathoning it can work best because of the way the story unfolds. I feel the way it tends to work (at least the way it did in the first two seasons, and the way it looks to be in this third one) is with a lot of episodes where things happen really slowly and you don't feel like much important has taken place - and then suddenly in the last few episodes you get the payoff and everything makes sense.

I'm not sure, I don't really think I've mastered tumblr yet.

I've watched about the first 7 eps on and off but I just can't commit to it, which is ridiculous because there are tonnes of shows like that that I adore and I just don't know why this one will not click with me. It's v. frustrating.

Weird, lol - if you have some time one weekend or something you should try marathoning it, you are missing out on some really great characters and storylines.

Aah Mad Men...I watched the first two seasons but, yeah, I still can't get into it. Like memoryfloodsin said above, I just don't know why! I have characters that I like, couples that I'm rooting for, I love that time period/costumes/setting/etc...but I still just can't really get into it OR motivate myself to watch S3 :S

It was weird, I really quite liked it by the end of season 2 and was sort of excited for season 3, but then when it came around I wasn't motivated to watch it at all - I don't know if I would have by now if it hadn't been up on BBC iPlayer and about to be taken off, but now that I've seen the first 2 episodes of the season, I'm more into it again.
