[You may find Tom standing in the Room, slowly flipping through a book. A very familiar book (to him, at least), with black ink staining its covers, where you would no longer be able to find the name T. M. Riddle amidst the giant ink blotch on the first page.

When Tom had arrived in the Room the last time, his ring and his diary were waiting for him within his usual side room residence, as if the Room knew where to leave them so he and he alone would be the one to find them. The Room had brought them along when it had brought him.

However, this diary had not arrived in the Room until just now. It had flown through a door and landed, coincidentally, at his feet. A basilisk fang had been lodged in it, and the book had been pouring ink all over the Room's floor.

After removing the fang and cleaning up the spilt ink - and this is where we find him now - Tom begins to slowly flip through the pages and survey the damage. He knows, of course, that basilisk's venom is one of the few substances capable of destroying a horcrux, and therefore this horcrux no longer holds the piece of his mirror's soul inside it. It is now nothing but an old, ink-stained diary.

Dark eyes shift from the diary's pages to the general population of the Room before him. The book is held up for the Room to see by his left hand (where a certain other horcrux is resting on his middle finger), the basilisk fang in his right.]

Does this belong to anyone?
