[Alder has been investigating this place, and happened to stumble upon Leif as he was speaking to his dog, he laughs slightly.] Ha, how'd that conversation go over last time?

[Glancing up with a weary expression, trying to save his history notes from dog drool, Leif shrugged a shoulder.] Not well at all. She flounced off and slammed the door to her room and refused to speak to me. So I grounded her for a week.

Flounced. [He moves his mouth around the word as he repeats it. It's not one he hears often. Then he moves on.] Sounds a bit harsh. She's just doing what her breed demands.

Ja, ja, flounced. Is this not the right word? [He'll carefully move the dogs enormous head from his book to his knee. He doesn't mind the drool so much from there.] I am a Great Dane too, and you do not see me climbing on people.

It's the right word, I just don't hear it often. [Whistles to try and get the dogs attention.] Yes, but if you did, I would not say anything against it.

But it is such a magnificent word. "Flounced." [The dog lifts her head, giving him a look that could be described as "withering".] You would not mind if I climbed on you and drooled on your books?

It is. I think I'll have to use it more often. [Well now he just feels rejected dog. He is going to growl at you.] I would be confused, sure, but not angry.

Please do. [The dog looks startled, but that gets a smile out of Leif.] And after the confusion faded?

[Jumps around slightly and barks.] Well I'd probably wonder where my sheet music went and why there were tons of textbooks around and then I would probably try not to piss you off. I mean, I've never been bitten by a Great Dane but I don't really want to either.

[Now Leif is giggling and Freja is sitting up and staaaaaring in utter confusion.] You ought to avoid being bitten by one. We're terribly fierce and rabid.

[Adler is just jumping around from one side to another. He's in a playful mood.] Shit man, I better. I don't feel like getting those shots in my stomach.

[Freja will lumber down off the couch and start bouncing around with him, while Leif just rolls his eyes and starts rescuing his school supplies.] Never anger a Danish man, then. Though if you do, they are easily placated with food.

[Yay, finally the dog is playing with him. He will try to razzle her even more by waving his hands on either side of her face.] Does that work for both you and the dog?

[He'll find himself with a Great Dane who thinks she's tiny and pocket-sized leaning against his legs and panting happily.] Ja, and we even like the same things. Though she prefers her meat rare.

Oompf. [Pets the adorable dane who is now crushing his kneecaps. Legs weren't meant to bend that way!] It ain't delicious unless it's bloody? I'm vegetarian myself...sadly.

Freja, lidt plads, bedes. [The dog obediently backs off a little.] Ah, I have tried to be that. I am one, between meals.
