A couple of days ago, I overheard a conversation, or one side of it. Shawn was standing in the doorway of the office of a couple of our media and usability specialists. Is that guy retarded, seriously?

Does he know how much meddling in Middle Eastern politics the US has done, for its domestic (read:corporate) interests and to ensure oil supply?

People like him need to be obliterated.

I have a friend being sent to Iraq very soon, and he used to support the Army, support Bush, and it took a year of living overseas and viewing his country and his government from a different perspective to understand that really, US foreign policy is leading to it's demise as an influential power. It is ironic that he cant leave the organisation he no longer believes in for fear of that... dishonourable whatever. Lame.

to start with, i've read Hitchen's book. the presupposition or as you say, "theme" that every war ever fought was started over religion is media fodder. i know you said "is not too far off" so you could use the semantic loop-hole to back away from the hilarity of that statement, but come on! crack open a history book and look for yourself. how could you say you couldn't find one "so far ( ... )
