Yikes! Well let's hope that whatever it was was just some random fluke and that it doesn't come back!

Yeah...I can deal with muscle pain from working out (usually a 3 on a scale of 1-10, 10 being worst). But this was definitely worst (8). Thanks for the thoughts of hope.

Yuck!!
The ER is always so scary. I'm glad you feel better, but make sure you follow through with that Dr.'s appointment!!

Yes, that is something I am going to call and schedule next week. What surprised my wife and my mother both was that I was in the ER Wednesday afternoon and yet I still went to the gym Thursday evening to work out.

Sounds like you may have had a bowel obstruction that resolved itself. (I've had them off and on since 1992). Don't ignore it if it happens again - mine are always like a twisting pain.

Glad you're doing better.

Bowel Obstructions, eh? I've heard of those, but have never experienced one that I know of. Most people do say it is a twisting and excruciating pain, so I may have been half way there. The thing is, I had not had any BM problems that morning. But, if this reoccurs, I will be sure not to ignore it.

Thanks for the well wishes.

Gah! Well, I'm glad to hear you're OK. And glad to hear from you that powerstar is out of the hospital.

Thanks, it was scary, especially with T up in Indy.

As for Powerstar, I am glad he was "okay". (I'm tossing a journal entry around...not sure if it would help him or not, or if posting it will help me.)
