That's a very sweet idea, actually, to revive this old tradition with new people. DTC was the first MBP-related community I was a member of, because I bugged the Hell out of Gil Ofarim. So I've got a bit of sentimental attachment to the whole concept. Hopefully it'll work out. I'll make sure to check for chat room names.

I was in the dtc back when it was like almost new, while I was a different skin. Anyway, we've needed something like this for a long time now, and I really hope it takes off like it should. Thank you for your wonderful comment, and I am glad you joined.

When did DTC start, actually? I only came to LJ in March, and at that point, I think it was going strong for a while already.

Yeah, the chat last night was later, around 10:00ish eastern time. Chats are really a must, and they're definitely loads of fun.

DTC started at LEAST in the year 2001. It was a blast, and I have a feeling this one will be as well.
