3x13 Last Of The Time Lords

I was planning to go all wordy on my first proper Doctor Who-centered post, but this is just too awesome. TOO AWESOME. *flail* I watched the episode yesterday and today there's still a bit in my brain going "OMGWTFBBQJACKISTHEFACEOFBOE", with the requisite flailing arms and the wide eyes and the giddy laughter.
I really didn't see that one coming. Like... really. And, y'know, in the three episodes where, really, I saw very little coming because omgTHETWISTS, that's saying something. I nearly fell out of my chair when he told Ten and Martha the nickname he'd been given.
Going back to watch the episodes with The Face of Bo in them is gonna be so much more awesome now, knowing it's Jack. Rewatched 'New Earth' yesterday as I was going to bed and I almost couldn't contain the squee. Especially when Ten is like, "I look different, but it's still me" and I was all like, "HE KNOWS!!" and then The Face of Boe was all enigmatic and then I was all, "JACK! I LOVE YOU, JACK! EVEN WHEN YOU'RE A TELEPATHIC HEAD IN A JAR!" and then in my head, Non head-in-a-jar Jack was all like, "Hello there," and I was all, "Hi," AND IT WAS FLIRTING BECAUSE IT'S JACK. And I wouldn't mind terribly if the good Captain flirted with me. Even if it was all in my head.
And you know what the best thing is? It makes everything make even that much more sense that he is, what with the last message and all. Who else would know that, that would still be alive? And I'm glad we got to know that, someday, somewhere, he dies. With the Doctor there, too. Finally able to rest.
