Got married!

I don't think I made any.

6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
Last year I complained about not having a permanent job. While this is still the case, I am no longer pining for one. Maybe I'd like a new car. Let's say that.
7. What dates from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
September 28, the day Elizabeth and I got married
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Hiking the Jungfrau region of Switzerland
9. What was your biggest failure?
I think this year was made of win.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Was pretty sick just before the wedding, but yay medication!
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Another MacBook Pro. Elizabeth bought me the Canon 450D, and it is also very nice.
12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
ITS's new director's "I come to bury Caeser, not to praise him" speech at tech contacts.
13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
Kevin Rudd and Stephan Conroy, over Internet Filtering. I am appalled at ever supporting them, and almost wish Howard was back running the country. If asked tomorrow if I would want the coalition back in power, I would seriously consider saying yes (not just over Internet Filtering, but also the salary sacrifice changes, compounded lack of action on global warming and Higher Education reforms)
14. Where did most of your money go?
Honeymoon. Was totally worth it :)

Wedding :D

I honestly don't think I've read a fiction book this year :( I've read plenty of NF ones though

Canon 450D, A central exchange server for UWA, the heads of my enemies on pikes.

A good exchange rate during our honeymoon :(

I turned 29, prepared for the wedding, and had a generally less interesting day than 2007's birthday.

Don't stress about weddings too much, your friends have got your back.
