What exactly is Grimace? You know, the big, purple, stupid looking thing that is part of those McDonald's ads along with Ronald McDonald, Hamburgarlar, and Birdie. when I was little, I thought the purple thing was really scary. Of course, I found the muppets very disturbing, too. I was not a claymation child either... I think things that look sort of human, only not, and move in weird ways are freaky no matter who came up with them

Just passing through and much enjoyed the Grimace commentary. You make a great point. I suppose Grimace is just an enigma. Really though the whole McDonalds "family" is terrifying in a fun sort of way...those fry kids...strangely awesome.
