Schools are always a place for trends. People love following what's new and what's hip and what looks "hott." Some past trends would include collecting Beanie Babies, pogs(haha) and tanning until you look like you're straight out of Africa.

i was actually thinking of making a journal like this but damn u beat me. i like it and shall comment frequently. i too heard that jessica walker story, and was berated by jen brown and coach hicks on this subject. and i agree that these things do give you higher self esteem.
