I started this review the wake of fansubber PositronCannon’s recent completion of a fully-subbed version of the entire original dub of Digimon Adventure 02.  I've now had the opportunity to watched Digimon Adventure 02 in its English dub and in its Japanese dub.  Both function very differently within those contexts,

I have a general outline for my videos that I usually follow. Some things I just take off the top off my head whilst I follow said outlines. I'll see about transferring them to my posts when I make them.

I think it was a good thing to change the children. The Tamer children aren't near as one note and its a plain outgrowth of 02 kids. Instead of having one Courage and One Friendship and them always butting heads and rererecovering the same ground (and Matt takes forever and day excluding weekends to come around) we get a more well adjusted person who doesn't seem to fall back on one trait. So Davis can be determined and friendly and empathic. In fact avoid cheesy overblown personal melodramas means we aren't just retelling 01 or having 02 with teens going gaga over kids stuff
