Are those like generic Grape Nuts?

Sounds about right. They're little more than toasted grain. Almost inedible without drowning in fruit and milk.

Never tried that, but I do know that they could absorb half a cup of milk and still be dry to the touch. Alsko, my jaw would tire out halfway through a bowl.

They were used at the old house as the penalty for crashing on our couch for a few months. The offer stood you could always sleep on it, but you had to have a bowl of Crunchy Nuggets in the morning.
