4-The winter before I moved up here, you told me you lived even further up north in "Splehp". I actually thought there was a town called "splehp" up here!

I'm going to make a LJ entry after this about a typical day in my life....
I decided for sure right after I got baptized.
I didn't believe it for a year or so leading up to my baptism when I was 16. But I had promised everyone I would do it so I did, thinking after baptism some spiritual wave would engulf me and I would feel something if it were the right religion. It didn't. Also that was the time Matthew Shepard was murdered for being gay. And I started to realize that the people at the Kindgom Hall wouldn't care much about another dead queer. So yeah. it propelled me out of the cult!

when I took it to Valvoline 3 weeks ago to get an oil change
they cracked the rubber hose that connects
the air filter to the engine
when they checked my air filter

I knew something was wrong from the moment I drove out of there but I couldn't prove it!
my uncle duct taped it up and its back to normal again!!
I was so happy yesterday you cant even imagine
I was thinking new car the whole way
now I get to keep my car a little longer at least!

mine is a 1997 ford escort station wagon (no surprise ther!) I had a whole new engine put in last summer (cheaper than a new car) It was overheating 2 summers ago, and when they put the new engine in, they check everything. BUT it's still overheating. I'm supposed to replace the part that circulates the coolant, but no $$ yet. I just run the heat to keep the temp down LOL welcome to the land of rednecks!

My air condtioning is the 4-60 variety...
4 windows down,at 60 MPH
running the heat isn't too bad, except it still blows on my feet, and seems SO much hotter!
