When I watched "Tin Man" for the first time I had a moment when I thought, "What if they're just robots for the rest of the series?" Which would be a bold decision to make in the first season, certainly, but it is the start of a fun little game of imagining SG-1 continuing without major changes reversed. OK, wow, there's a moment in the SyFy Channel miniseries Tin Man when DG finds out that her "parents" were actually "nurture robots." So it took me a while to remember that "Tin Man" was also the name of an SG-1 episode!!!

I've often wondered if the entire Star Trek universe actually takes place in the minds of Captain Pike & crew after they *thought* the Talosians let them go at the end of "The Cage."

I don't know SG-1 well enough to come up with more of these, but I hope some more folks reply, because I ♥ this kind of thing.

LOL. My brain is so sucked into SG-1 right now that I didn't even think about the disambiguation.

I love playing with these kind of what-if ideas. I'm not as interested in them as fics, but I like it as a thought exercise and having to consider what would be different.
