Clearly it pays to be versatile.

v_o_o: Will you spin fire at my wedding?
theempathogen: Yes.

[days later]

v_o_o: How about we pay for your airfare to come if you do sisterred's hair and nails?
theempathogen: It's been a while, are you sure you trust me?
v_o_o: Yes.
theempathogen: Okay, then yes.

[days later]

theempathogen: So, who's your other attendant, hm, hm?
v_o_o: Here's a hint, look in the mirror.

I've only read part of this post so far, so it might be edited, but you are NOT wearing a tux.

And no you don't have to do my hair and nails. Now that you are a member of the wedding party, you will not have to work your ass off doing all of that. My hope is to find someone to do all of our hair. You and Robin are standing with Arthur, Becky and Jackie are standing with me. Oh, and he has one penis on his side and I have one penis on my side. They will be the ones wearing tuxes or suits or whatever the hell I decide to dress them in. (Parke on his side, Ken on mine)

I have an idea of how I want the women to dress, but until I find a cheaper alternative, that's on hold.

While I would've been glad to do it, coming from that immigrant parent work ethic mentality (which I only halfway follow, but sounds like "OMGWTF, you work too much" to Americans and "you lazy, sorry ass" to Asians), I have to say I'm relieved and thank you.

Did he tell you I'm a makeup junkie?

I've been a wedding attendant before, but it was in 1995, back in the days before online registration or any of these other newfangled things that make weddings bearable. Plus, I wasn't actually old enough to drive, so couldn't take on any real brass-tacks attendant duties. I am honoured and excited (and floored) to do the rounds this time as an adult. God, I just can't even begin to say...

To give you an idea of what I want in a bridesmaid/groomswoman dress, this is the ideal. But there is no way in hell you guys are going to be expected to pay that much for a dress, especially since I got my dress on sale for $600.

I'm thinking you and Robin will be in the same style as Becky and Jackie, just a different shade of green. Or copper if I can find a copper I like in fabric.

So you and Robin in bottle green:
