The wall that divides the boys and girls bathrooms on my floor is either very thin or does not reach the ceiling completely, because you can hear what is going on on the other side as if it's happening right next to you. there's a kindly gent who used to live on the 6th floor that would oft sing in that bathroom. and through that elongated glory hole that they call a wall one could hear his beautiful serenades day and night.
