as i drove i thought and i pondered. my life. it was serene and almost surreal. i drove at sunset. into the sunset. the darkness behind me, the fading light before me. i felt like i was chasing the sun. something you can run after forever and never reach it. there was a calm in the air i could feel it through the rolled up windows, it was there.
