Ha ha, I'm glad they edited my babbling so I only sounded 1/2 as dumb as I really was. It's pretty sad that any time I am captured in public, it is with a drink in my hand. me=drunk.

I got your message too late. I was at my mom's all day tearing out carpet from her basement b/c it was damaged during last weeks flooding. I was there all day and was too pooped to go out. sux.

When they said it would be loud, they weren't f'in kidding. Even *with* the earplugs it was deafening. There was also 20 minutes of feedback at the end (I had to leave-went to a bar down the street to wait for the die-hards who wouldn't leave). It was awesome to see a band I've been listening to since high school that I never thought I would see.
Next time? Thinking coming out in winter.

I probably wouldn't have enjoyed the show then. Strangely, even after all the gigs I've gone to, I still have very acute hearing and really can't stand super loud gigs.
