darkcreachr & I did the Muddy Buddy 2009 race this morning. It was so much fun! It's a 7 mile race of alternating biking & running through a wilderness area between you & your muddy buddy. I was thinking of signing up for something like that, but I hear there's the technicality that I guess you have to use the same bike for both people? Might create a bit of a problem if my buddy is a full foot taller than I am. Hrm.

We originally marked the higher seat setting in sharpy and stopped the lower seat setting with tape, but if you both ride different frame sizes, that could be challenging. We ended up leaving the seat on the lower setting just to make it easier to transition.

The way it's laid out is that the bicyclist will bike the 1st, 3rd, last leg.

So,if you had two pairs of people, one short, one tall, you could mix the bikes, so long as each team ended up with their own bike at the end, I don't think anyone would be wiser.
