[PRIVATE - Zelda, Link, and Link // difficult to hack]

...I suppose we ought to discuss how best to proceed.

He - [There should be no question of who he's talking about, of course.] - seems to remember no more than his first attempt. He looks no older, certainly. How much of that he remembers is difficult to pin, save that he knew of my place in ( Read more... )

[Appearing completely unaffected, lalala.]

You're going to have to be more specific. Is this about the boots? I didn't know they belonged to anyone.

The man who mentioned Hyrule, Saki. It would be... preferable if you didn't speak to him altogether.

You're seriously telling me who I can and can't talk to?

[There's some distinct eyebrow raising happening, not that he can see it - but her tone is more disbelieving, almost curious, than instinctively annoyed.]

I gave no such order, nor am I in a place to.

There are better people to jest with than him.

[Someone is a little grateful they're bringing this up. You can hear the crating of metal and stone. Someone polishing up their shield.]

Who is he? [He is not the Ganondorf I know...]

[He's a little surprised at that question, but then, he's not fully aware of how the years could potentially change the man.]

...Why, he's Ganondorf, Hero. The legendary king of evil.

He is not like I remember him.

What do you know of Gerudo?

Time changes people.

I know enough, I like to think. Why?

[Grim, but knowing:]

He'll want the Triforce pieces.

[Likewise.]

Naturally. But that does not mean he'll make an immediate grasp for them.

[Link gives a terse nod.]

We should tell people. This... shouldn't be like Adachi, with no one knowing. If he makes a move, people should know he's about to.

...Mm.

Her Highness will be the best judge, I imagine.

It would be best for all of us to stay out of his way as much as possible, but at the same time we cannot allow him to trick the other residents as he once did my father. [She just needs to think now on how to prevent this.]

No.

An open fight is out of the question, unless he starts it. But as you said, we must be vigilant that he does not look to charming the rest of the residents - or, further still, turning them against any of us.

...Some of Demeleier's sharper residents may ask, you know.

He seems to be treading cautiously, enough that many of the residents might not notice. But you are right. The sharper ones may suspect his behavior, and we will have to decide on what is appropriate to tell them.

At the very least, I believe we should speak to Valeria. We will need the Watch to be prepared in case it ever comes to a fight.

Valeria may well contact us, your Highness. But you are correct, of course. We must leave no question of his capabilities... How much would you have us say, Princess?
