Day Two: Your Favorite Movie
Like my favorite book, it's a close race between Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, but this time Prisoner comes out on top. I enjoy the earlier movies for the same reason I like the earlier books: it's more about the magical wonder of a new world rather than a corrupt wizarding government and a Dark Lord rising. I also like how the new director tries to make the students more relaxed, just like normal teenagers would do, and the actors are starting to grow up. Even though the beginning of Voldemort's rise starts with the events of this movie, nobody dies in this movie, and things resolve nicely by the end. The change in the location of Hogwarts can be annoying, although I do love the new location, with its huge hills and forests. And who can forget when Hermione finally gave Malfoy what he deserves: a fist right to the face. Although I do enjoy the other movies, and I love the first one, this is my favorite movie and the one I'm most likely to watch over and over again.
