Day Twenty-five: Nineteen years later. Are you happy how it turned out, or do you wish something was different, ie Neville married Luna.
Overall, I was satisified with the epilogue. I know a lot of people thought it was cheesy and said that Rowling was an idiot or selling out or whatever, but I'm glad she did it - I had become attached to the characters at that point and wanted to know more about them. Sure, there are some minor things I wish had been different - I think Neville should have married Susan Bones, she seemed perfect, or Luna, that would have been really interesting, or Luna was featured in some way in the epilogue - but for the most part I was happy. They weren't my characters to bring closure to, so I can't insult the author who created them for not following exactly what I wanted her to do with them. I would love it if she wrote a new series, this time from the point of view of one of the new generation, like Albus. I'll be waiting...
