Thai food!

Mar 07, 2007 18:00

For lunch today, I finally got my first Thai meal since Groundhog Day. The owners of the place near work where I usually go had been on vacation in Thailand for a month.
I had the chicken and cashews. For some strange reason, I'd had a craving for that the past few days. I wonder why. ;D

I've been dying for some chinese lately...A coworker is leaving us, so on Friday, her last day, a few of us are going to lunch at Viet Pho's, this really good vietnamese/chinese place where I've been once before. From recommendation from another co-worker, we tried this pork dish with crispy white noodles that was *so* good...I've been drooling all week just thinking about it......

Hmmm... I've never had Vietnamese food. I wonder where the nearest Vietnamese restaurant is...

I checked Yahoo, and there is a vietnamese restaurant not too far from where I work. Maybe I can rally up some of my co-workers to go give it a try.
As for me posting, well, it's not quite as random an act as it seems. It stems from a comment thread on another friend's LJ, and what I had to say was tangential to that thread, so I made a separate post. :)

Mmm, Chicken and Cashews.

I know there are vietnamese places in Boston and NYC, but I am unknowledgable about ones between. :)

That, and because a certain friend mentioned having it on her LiveJournal. :D
Oh, and the next time you go, try the pad Thai (chicken or shrimp). I only know a couple of people who were indifferent to it; most people I know who have tried it think it's heavenly. :)~
