My parents had inquired how the rally in Grant Park was, and I thought a few other people who read this journal might want to hear about it to. So this is most of the text in response to that question

Wow, what an amazing night for you to experience. There was a huge party at my place, and all everyone kept talking about was how they wish they were at Grant Park so that they could see him in person. That'll definitely be an evening that your kids will ask you about someday, and you'll be able to tell them that you were there. But I'm not going to lie, all of the parties in Muncie that I went to kicked ass. Everyone cheered and drank themselves silly whenever a state was called, especially when the California polls closed.
The only thing that pisses me off from this entry is that the security wasn't very good. They should have had metal detectors that everyone had to walk though, because it sounds to me like some anti-Obama piece of shit could have snuck in a gun and killed him during his speech. It only takes one person to change history, either good or bad. Poor security has always been a huge pet peeve of mine. It defeats its own purpose, and that's how 9/11 happened in the first place.
