Today was alright i feel i can finally listen to the Beatles again. Before my AS exam it was always just a reminder of the impending doom but it went alright so i can enjoy their genius again.

Maths was alright I dont think i did as well as maybe i should but it wasnt 100% bad.

y'know there was a question that was like "use approximations to estimate √(9.98/0.203)

i put √50 as the answer as i didn't know EXACTLY how much mor than 7 the square route of 50 was....
would that be right??

I think they have memories that work backwards, on the principle that someone will want to know one day what every number is squared; they 'remember' these equations from the future and give you the relevant bit, the square root.

i wouldent know how a calculator works out square routes because i have so far failed to do it in my head, therefore i did not do so well in maths. bugger.
