What are you, a windows user? Any drive you have can be marked as network in your fstab and thus be accessable over the network.
Oh wait, nevermind.
Either way, she's better off getting a drive and an enclosure. She's smart enough to network configure it herself if she needs to, and it's not even within what she says she wants it to do. She just wants a portable drive to carry her music on that she won't have to break out a screwdriver to connect to another computer.
