I thought I was the only one that didn't have any aspirations. Dan was talking to me about how he wanted to design games ever since he was a kid and asked "Didn't you have that one thing you wanted to do when you were growing up?" And it hit me. I have never really wanted to obtain some sort of high goal. I guess all I've really wanted is to live freely or something of that sort... but what the hell is that, you know? Where the fuck am I going to go with that? I've been thinking about that shit for awhile and it's driving me insane.
You're not alone, bud. It's a real sick feeling and I know at times it can make you feel almost helpless. At least that's my point of view on it. I hope things turn out how you want them to.
Jesus christ, this journal entry sounds like some pathetic cry for attention you'd expect from a die hard Linkin Park fan... I was kirkin the fuck out.
Thanks for the comment though, nice to see that there's someone else out there who just follows the path set in front of them.
You don't need any sort of goal. I've been bouncing around wanting to do every job imaginable from being a pro-tree climber to being a biochemist. I'm about to pay over $120k to go to school at Syracuse and I still don't have a clue about what I'm going to do with my life.
Don't feel alone, just keep on doing what makes you happy, and if what you are doing isn't making you happy, then try living differently until you find happiness.
And don't feel down, its less than two months before it's night club card time at ski liberty everyday of the week we can get up there.
